Aluminum Alloys

·         4043 – 5% Silicon Aluminum filler metal

·         5356 – 5% Magnesium Aluminum filler metal that offers corrosion resistance when exposed to salt water

Copper Alloys

·         Aluminum Bronze A2 Bare – Versatile bare wire used for joining aluminum bronze of similar composition, silicon and manganese bronze, high strength copper-zinc alloys, some copper-nickel alloys, ferrous metals and dissimilar metals. Commonly used for marine maintenance and repair welding of ship propellers, pump housings, et cetera.

Mild and Low Alloy Steel

·         70S-2 – Premium welding wire designed for welding on all grades of mild and carbon steel. Produces quality welds with minimal porosity. Excellent for welding over rust and mill scale.

·         70S-6 – Premium mild steel solid wire for high quality welds. It produces a smooth stable arc with low spatter, which produces a weld bead that ties in evenly with the sides and has a smooth finish.

·         6010 – Quick-starting, cellulosic mild steel electrode that provides outstanding arc stability, penetration, and wash-in. Ideal for all welding positions and produces a quality weld with light slag that is easy to remove.

·         6011 – Designed for use with AC power sources, it has high operator appeal and produces a fine spray transfer that is ideal for all welding positions. Excellent for welding on dirty steel or steel that is rusty or painted.

·         7018 – General purpose electrode to use for a wide variety of welding projects. Superior weldability from this low hydrogen, mild steel electrode; provides an excellent start and restart capabilities. Smooth weld and almost spatter-free.

·         71T1 – Flux-cored, gas-shielded electrode for single and multiple pass welding of carbon steels in all positions. Designed for use with 100% CO2 and 75/25 Argon/CO2 shielding gas mixtures.

Stainless Steel Flux Cored Wire

·         308L – Gas-shielded, flux cored, stainless steel electrode designed to weld flat and horizontal positions. The carbon content is held to a maximum of 0.03% to reduce the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation. This increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion without the use of stabilizers. Arc transfer is smooth with minimal spatter. Designed for use with 100%CO2 or a blend of 75/25 Argon/CO2.

·         309L – Gas-shielded, flux cored, stainless steel electrode designed to weld in the flat and horizontal positions.  The lower carbon content reduces the possibility of intergranular corrosion. Designed for use with 100%CO2 or a blend of 75/25 Argon/CO2.

·         316L – Gas-shielded, flux cored, stainless steel electrode designed to weld in all positions. The minimal carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation and makes it more resistant to intergranular corrosion. The presence of Mo improves resistance to pitting and provides increased creep resistance at elevated temperatures.
